Cheikh Ramy el Khazen nominated at THE FINALISTS OF GREEN MIND AWARD!

Cheikh Ramy el Khazen has been selected part of the top 3 finalists to proceed to the final evaluation in the “Green Mind Individual” category. He competed against thousands of green projects submitted to the Green Mind Award Committee.

Green Mind Award is a yearly prestigious event to encourage the best Green practice of both the public and private sectors.  The Ceremony will receive extensive media coverage. It will be aired on LBCI on April 22nd, 2014 on the International Earth Day. Keynotes Speakers in the award ceremony will include HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco and Mr Carlos Ghosn Chairman of Nissan.

Information about Cheikh Ramy el Khazen project: The Junkyard

Cheikh Ramy have created a restaurant\bar concept using a combination of containers, architecture & design, as well as some creativity with recycling and container. The location would be in the heart of Beirut squeezed in between old buildings, still carrying scars of war. The architecture review consists of 12 shipping containers spread over 1200sqm land, where some are stacked on top of each other to form a two-story venue, with an industrial lift on the side carrying people all the way up to the roof top. It consists of an interior area, rooftop and outdoor junk garden bar, accommodating up to 700 people. The decoration and the functional areas of the restaurant are all made up  of reused/recycled/transformed materials like a 1936 tractor used as a façade for the bar, or the back of a garbage collector truck turned into a 12 person VIP dining area with a  small private balcony. The end result is really appealing and one of a kind.

Cheikha Arzi El Khazen bio
According to Salomon Al Rihani´s journal:

Salomon and his cousin Ameen Al Rihani (the famous Lebanese writer) traveled from Merida Mexico (where he has been living for 2 years and had an amazing business) , to New York and then to Europe on june 1, 1912.

They arrived in Europe on the famous and luxurious boat “RMS Luisitania”, they stayed in several cities in the UK visiting the industrial textil firms, and mansions of the Lords in Nottingham.

After a big tour in Europe, they traveled in the famous “Orient Express” to Istambul, and then they arrived to Beirut on september 1, 1912.

Ms. Carine el Khazen Hadati is a clinical psychologist. She has a Masters’ Degree in Clinical and Psychopathological Psychology (University of Saint Joseph, Lebanon, 2000), post-graduate degree (DESS) in Clinical and Psychopathological Psychology (University of Sorbonne, Paris V, France, 2002), and diploma in Profound Studies (DEA) in Clinical Psychopathology (University of Jussieu, Paris VI, France, 2004). She trained in a variety of reputable general health care and psychiatric facilities in the UK (Institute of Psychiatry, The Maudsley Hospital), France (Sainte-Anne Hospital, Paris) and Lebanon (St Georges University Hospital). Prior to joining the American Center, she worked as a clinical psychologist at the General Medical Center (Dubai, UAE) for eight years and as a school psychologist in two international schools and nurseries for nine years.

 Carine has joined the American Center for Psychiatry and Neurology in Dubai in 2011 and as an Eating and Weight Disorders specialist and as a CBT-E therapist, trainer and supervisor, she has set up and is the director of a CBT-E accredited specialized multi-disciplinary out-patient Eating and Weight Disorders program (center for CBT-E excellence). Along with her team they have successfully helped children, adolescents and adults recover from their eating disorders (Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge-eating, ARFID, picky eating,…).  She has also co-authored with Dr Riccardo Dalle Grave the first and only CBT-E guide for parents of adolescents receiving CBT-E treatment. The book entitled: “Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Young People, a parent’s guide” will be published by Routledge Press in December 2021.

فريد هيكل الخازن

 

 

 

-         مواليد غادير جونيه في 13 أيلول 1970.

 

-         متحدر من عائلة الخازن غوسطا .

 

-         والدته وداد إميل زيدان .

 

-         والده هيكل صالح الخازن .

 

-         بالإضافة إلى والديه هو من أسرة قوامها ثلاث شقيقات وشقيقين .

 

-         متأهل من منى انطوان نخله ,ولهما منها طفلة اسمها ياسمينة .

 

-         تلقى دروسه الابتدائية في مدرسة القديس يوسف عينطورة وأنهى دراسته الثانوية  في  مدرسة   LAthne de Beyrout   بصاليم عام 1990

 

-         تابع وأنهى دراسته في الحقوق في جامعتي القديس يوسف عام 1994 .

 

-         محام بالاستئناف، حضّر دراسات عليا في العلاقات الدولية والدبلوماسية في

جامعة الحكمة بيروت عام 1999- 2000 .

 

 

محطات :

 

 

 

 

-         أنشأ الإتحاد اللبناني للتنمية الزراعية.

 

-          نائب كسروان - الفتوح وجبيل منذ العام 2000

 

-         انتخب أميناً لسًر المجلس النيابي وكان بالتالي أحد أعضاء هيئة مكتب المجلس حتى تعيينه وزيراً للسياحة الوطنية في حكومة الرئيس عمر كرامي في عام 2004 .

 

-         وزير السياحة الوطنية في الحكومة اللبنانية من  6/10/2005 حتى 18/2/2005 تاريخ تقديم استقالته من حكومة الرئيس عمر كرامي  بُعيد استشهاد الرئيس رفيق

الحريري، إيماناً منه بضرورة تحمل الحكومة اللبنانية للمسؤولية الوطنية الكبرى .

 

 

-         شكلت إستقالته الطوعية خطوة لافتة في مقاربة الشأن العام وضربة معنوية للحكومة التي اختارت المواجهة مع الشعب اللبناني، كما فتحت استقالته الباب أمام تنامي المعارضة التي كان وما زال ركنا" من أركانها قُبيل إسقاط الحكومة في مجلس النواب .

 

-         تميز بمعارضة مبدأية ونأى بنفسه عن المحاور وتكتلات القوى فعمل على الحفاظ على الوحدة السياسية التضامنية لكتلة القرار الشعبي في دائرة كسروان- الفتوح وجبيل.

 

 

-         حافظ على تراث عائلته المبني على سياسة البيت المفتوح والمواقف الجريئة والدفاع غير المشروط عن مصالح مواطنيه بموازاة دفاعه عن المصلحة الوطنيه العليا.

 

 

 

إنجازات ومواقف :

 

 

 

 

-         اتخذ مواقف نقابية ودافع عن الطبقة العماليًة لاسيما في قطاعي الزراعة والنقل حيث كان على رأس التظاهرات العمالية والاعتصامات منذ انتخابه حتى اليوم.

 

 

-         فعّل الأداء في وزارة السياحة الوطنية وتخطّى البيروقراطيًة.وسهّل التعامل والمعلومات كما نشّط المجلس الوطني للسياحة وحوّله إلى شريك أصيل في القرار السياحي على المستوى الوطني.        

 

 

-         أوّل من وقع عريضة العفو عن الدكتور سمير جعجع و أوّل المطالبين بعودة الجنرال ميشال عون من المنفى.

 

 

-         شارك في مؤتمرات رسمية محلية وإقليمية ودولية ووقع بإسم لبنان بروتوكولات واتفاقات تعاون سياحية مختلفة.

 

 

-         قدم استقالة مدويّة من حكومة الرئيس عمر كرامي بعيد استشهاد الرئيس رفيق الحريري ممهّداً الطريق امام تنامي المعارضة الوطنية التي كان وما زال ركناً اساسياً فيها.

 

 

-         مدافع شرس عن حرية الاعلام والرأي والتعبير بدءا ًبمعارضته اقفال محطة ال MTV مروراً باعتراضه على قانون المرئي والمسموع مروراً بقانون الانتخاب.

 

 

-         عمل بدأب على إطلاق مشروعين أساسيين في منطفة كسروان الفتوح ,هما مشروع سد شبروح ومشروع المستشفى الحكومي في البوار.

 

 

-         دخل الحكومة مشترطاً إقرار قانون انتخابي على اساس القضاء والغاء التجنيد الاجباري وانجز هدفيه .

 

 

-         ناهض بقوة مبدأ تعيين المجالس البلدية عبر مؤتمر وطني تحت عنوان    "بلدي بلدتي بلديتي "   فجمع اكثر من خمسة الآف توقيع في منطقة كسروان من اصل ستين الف توقيع في كل لبنان,انطلقت اثرها الانتخابات البلدية في لبنان
