Lebanese Army detains 6 Syrians over suspected terror links

BEIRUT: The Army Tuesday detained six Syrians over suspected terror links in east Lebanon, the military said in a statement.

The statement said Syrian national Mohammad Ahmed Youssef was detained in the Bekaa Valley town of Labweh. He is wanted over alleged involvement in assaults against military posts in the northeastern border town of Arsal.
Another five Syrians were detained in the same area over suspected terror links, the statement added.
The arrests come one day after the Army arrested five suspected Nusra Front militants near Arsal who tryied to enter the village.
