BEIRUT: The Health Ministry issued a recall Wednesday on children’s Panadol syrup from Lebanese markets due to a dosage labeling error.

The ministry, which also temporarily banned the sale of the product, said in a statement that the decision stemmed from a dosage labeling error on the plastic lid of the bottle.

The statement called on consumers to return all bottles to pharmacies.

The bottles affected by Wednesday’s decision carry the labels: N229, N119, N143, N180, N181, N190, N216, N218, and N219.

The statement did not disclose whether any incident occurred as a result of the labeling error.
