Patriarch Ignatius IV Hazim of Antioch and all the East is in a stable condition and currently undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit after suffering a stroke, Saint George Hospital announced on Tuesday. "A team of medical experts at Saint George are taking care of the Patriarch's condition ,” the hospital's administration said, adding that the Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea, Beirut Greek Orthodox Archbishop Elias Audeh, as well as Public Health Minister Ali Hasan Khalil and al-Mustaqbal MP Atef Majdalani visited the hospital to check up on Hazim's health.

Also among the visitors were former ministers Michel Eddeh, Ibrahim Najjar, Elie Salem and Bechara Merhej. [Link]
