The Future bloc on Tuesday said that Hezbollah was still using its weapons to intimidate the Lebanese people.

“Hezbollah is still using its weapons… to intimidate the Lebanese people and impose its political, social and economic domination,” the bloc said in a statement following its weekly meeting. The statement also said that “the crime perpetrated by Hezbollah and its allies on May 7, 2008 against the residents of Beirut took the country into a [new] phase.” 

The Future MPs also said that the Lebanese people “cannot gain back their normal lives unless the Lebanese state regains power and decision [making].” [NowLebanon]
